The Thermo Bonding Oven is made of 2 mt long modular sections.The walls are insulated by 100 mm thicken rock-wool panels. Due to the modular system of the oven, other heating and/or cooling sections can be added to increase the capacity of the oven.
Each module has its own heating system, ventilation, temperature control and air filtration.
The material which is to be processed is kept within two aprons made of an particular open mesh design which allows the throughput of a big amount of air. In each section, the upper apron and upper nozzles are independently adjustable in height.
Through a particular distribution of the nozzles, an uniform distribution of the hot air is guaranteed on both sides of the material.
On the exit side there is a cooling and calibration calender.
The two cylinders are chrome covered and they are cooled by cold water.
They can be crossed (cross-axing) in order to obtain a uniform thickness across the entire width of the machine.
